Lebanon’s energy sector can be described as problematic. From attacks by private energy providers, to state energy being sold to its citizens at a loss, to lacking twenty-four hour a day electricity, the country appears to have everything to gain from domestic and foreign investment in this sector. The Lab’s Lebanon team will produce cohesive reports on important risk factors as well as tactics to mitigate those risks. The research analysts assess the implications of domestic political and economic issues/events as well as the country’s relationship with foreign states and international organizations in order to provide a well-rounded guide for prospective investors.
